Doga L3 : modeling helper

Here is a modeling helper where you assemble
premade parts to create spaceship, airplanes, robots,
cars and buildings. It export in 3Dfaces dxf, wrl, and x,
so you can import it in Bryce, who have a tool to smooth
theses low polygones models, and in almost any other 3D
rendering programs. It's name is Doga-L3, www.doga.co.jp/english/
and in the demo version you can save your model .
The version L1 is free and have animations features.

MODELING :
You start at Part/Add Part.
If you a have a wing, by example, that you want to duplicate,
at Edit/Duplicate you can duplicate reversing.
Save your model in 3D faces dxf, and you will have your parts separated,
to assign a different texture to it, in your favorite 3D program.

RENDERING IN DOGA
First you set the texture of your model at Edit (in the right column).
I will give you the parameters for the bumpy metal of my model shown.
Color : gray/blue
Bump : M4 at 20%
Material : Sample Select : Shine
To have a reflective texture, you need a background to reflect.
At Display/Render Properties , at Normal BG you choose
one of the presets bg. One bad point the "Specify BG picture"
have to be set at "Map to BG sphere" to have reflections,
but the bg you have choosed shows incomplete and distorted.
So you are stocked to the presets bg, if you want reflections.
You set the size of your image and the lights.
Press Rendering or close and press [F-5] .

So when you don't know where to start to create
a space ship, or a shed, try Doga L3 !
